project IV:
halloween movie poster - negative space
As Halloween season is coming up, we as art students had to make movie posters for horror movies to celebrate the festival. Our focus is to use negative space to its extent.

The movie I chose is the classic Stanley Kubrick film, "The Shining". The key symbolizes the key to the haunted room 237. The bow of the key is styled to resemble the bleeding elevator, hence the blood trail dripping. On the key engraved the word redrum or 'murder'. The key cuts come out as two hands reaching out to each other, like the ghosts of the twin sisters.

In this project we looked at branding and model-making. We started off with researching about the branding- the brand identity, design brief, and onliness statement.

I came up with "The Retry Bars", a bar which serves you drinks along with a nice playlist of Indie music. After coming up with the brand and product, we had to draw the plan of the shop; the front, back, left/ right sides, top view. The last step is making the actual model in scale to the blueprints.

mixtape memoir
As our last project, we were free to create any form of art to the subject of our own choice. I chose music, which has always been a big inspiration on my work. In this project Mixtape Memoir, I set a goal for myself to make one artwork inspired by the song I was listening to at the time, for 20 days. Each and everyone of them is made up from different mediums.
